Uma tradição com origens em Portugal
Viajando até ao século XVII, a Didáxis cumpriu on time com o famoso ritual britânico do 5 o’clock Tea.
Na encenação protagonizada pelos alunos do 5º, 6º e 7º anos de escolaridade, os aplausos efusivos de mais de uma centena de convidados demonstraram a sua satisfação com a recriação da história da rainha portuguesa, D. Catarina de Bragança, que levou o gosto pelo chá para a Inglaterra.
O evento cultural contou com a preciosa colaboração das turmas do primeiro e segundo anos do Curso de Técnico de Hotelaria e Restauração.
Parabéns a todos os alunos que, para além de valorizarem a história de Portugal, demonstraram um domínio elevado de proficiência na língua inglesa na representação da peça teatral.
Traveling back to the the 17th century, Didáxis had the famous British 5 o’Clock Tea.
On stage, our 5th, 6th and 7th graders had the effective applause of more than a hundred guests, demonstrating their satisfaction with the recreation of the history of the Portuguese Queen, Catherine of Braganza who took the taste for tea to England.
The cultural event had the precious collaboration of the classes of the first and second years of the Technical Course of Hotelaria and Restauração.
Congratulations to all the students who enhanced the history of Portugal and demonstrated a high domain of English proficiency in the play representation.
